DO NOT BUY THIS GAME FOR FULL PRICE, if you have any thought of buying this game but aren’t sure, just don’t do it.and stick to ufc 3. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME FOR Great fluidity of striking and transitions visually, other than that this game is complete **** They completely **** up the wrestling and ground and pound from ufc 4, you can be killing someone for 10 minutes and not get hit once, just to be taken down once and hit with one sequence of ground and pound to be knocked out before being able to actually do anything. The career mode is a move in the right direction compared to recent instalments, however most of it is just filler and becomes really repetitive.EA Sports UFC 4: Directed by Brian Hayes. The fighters look great and animations for moves are as better as ever. If any of the devs see this, PLEASE remove the hurt partner mechanic and bring back the way it was in UFC 3.Initially the game is quite fun when booting it up and playing for the the first few hours. Now I can't really even go for knockouts or do any heavy moves because I won't get my fitness up enough.
The career mode is a move in the right direction compared to recent instalments, however most of it is just filler and becomes really repetitive. The fighters look great and animations for moves are as better as ever. Based on the mixed martial arts promotion Ultimate Fighting Championship where you can develop and customize the character through a unified progression system across all modes.Create a fighter is easy to use and you can be as in depth or ridiculous as you Initially the game is quite fun when booting it up and playing for the the first few hours.
There’s just simply been an assist option, whilst this makes it easier to transition on the ground by giving you three options, it also makes it a lot easier and more predictable for opponents to counter transitions. Gameplay wise there are some improvements, however the ground game isn’t exactly tweaked as they may have advertised. The extra modes again just seem bland and like they are there to fill some space however I’m sure some people will find joy out of them. K.O mode is your typical fighter mode with each fighter having a health bar and going best out of three similar to your Tekken or MK games. The fight now matches are typical ones you’d expect and have featured before.
Best not to pick this one up until the purple screen bug is fixed for this one … ExpandTypical EA cut and paste. Career mode has taken a step in the right direction and hopefully they can further improve on that in future instalments If online is where you spend most of your time, you’ll be really disappointed. Overall it’s a fun experience that looks good and is enjoyable but still feels lacking in some areas of the game. This became extremely frustrating as it extended to every mode of the game. The game in its current form does feature a game breaking bug, occasionally when loading into online fights, ranked, blitz etc, the character select background screen will basically takeover the screen and impede you from seeing the fight your taking part in. The submission system has improved once you figure out how to use it properly as the game doesn’t do the best job of explaining it to you.
UFC undisputed 3 came out 8 years ago and EA still can’t make a game that beats the game play. The last game came out in January of 2018 and all you could add is 15-20 new fighters? There are top ranked guys in their weight classes that are not in the game. Take downs are unstoppable and the animations are pretty bad compared to EA Typical EA cut and paste. The gameplay sucks on this one. UFC undisputed 3 came out 8 years ago and EA still can’t make a game that beats the game play.

The attempt to lure arcade players turned into the fact that it can no longer be called a "simulator", and the loss of the old audience. It would With this game, absolutely everything is wrong. The game no longer forces the player to think and play chess in his head, build a game plan, because now you can win in a completely stupid way: spam hits, spam painful moves (what?), Spam clinch. The attempt to lure arcade players turned into the fact that it can no longer be called a "simulator", and the loss of the old audience.
Even when it does work its filled with spam and cheese. … ExpandOnline completely broken from purple screen of death. Congratulations to EA I will never trust you again. We now have ugly son ufc 3 and tekken. It would seem that you can defend against this? alas, no, in endless spam, your opponent won't give you the slightest opportunity to counter-attack.
Roster is small and missing 40% of ranked fighters. When it does work (never now), CAFs in ranked is a mess, so is forcing people to play in only one division. Even when it does work its filled with spam and cheese. Career mode was meant to be improved but after Online completely broken from purple screen of death. Grappling system even more broken than before, especially full mount GnP. Roster is small and missing 40% of ranked fighters.
For the purple screen glitch alone affecting the majority of Oceania players this game should be illegal under consumer law. The absolute bare minimum from EA. Career mode was meant to be improved but after getting through the tutorial it turns into a UFC 3 carbon copy.
How?This is the biggest back-step I have This game is abysmal. I legitimately think those reviewers were paid off, because I have no idea how you play this game for more than 10 minutes and give it a positive rating - yet there isn't a single negative rating. Seeing "legit" outlets giving it 80s, 90s, and even 100s is shocking. Seeing the critic score for this game hurts.
I love the classics like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Tekken, but I am also a big fan of combat sports. How? This is the biggest back-step I have ever played in a combat sports game. Ea Sports Ufc 3 Too Hard Trial For This
She paid $70 for the heap of garbage. Well, my birthday just passed and what do you know, my girlfriend got me it as a gift. I played the trial for this game and the beta and I thought it was dreadful and for the first time in well over a decade, I had zero intentions of purchasing this game.
EA has decided to go full TEKKEN with this "simulation" game and they did a dreadful job. I would struggle to pay $15 for this game when it's inevitably on sale in a month or two, nevermind full price. When I was unable to, I gave her back the $70 she spent on this game.
They arel iterally just that new venues. They act like these two new venues are gamechangers. Career mode is uninteresting as it always is, fight now is fight now but they added backyard fights and kumite fights. They have removed modes from previous entries and given us a relatively barebones selection. The stamina exploits, the ground exploits, the clinch exploits, this game is next to unplayable - especially for online play.
There is around ten divisions with (mostly) different fighters in every division. Stat tracking is barely there, making it feel like every game is an unranked throwaway, and EA has even removed the option of picking what weight class you wanna compete in. Something as basic as Online World Championships has been messed up.
But there's no denying the gameplay changes made 3 a better game. UFC 2 has those animations on-point. EA UFC 3 was an undeniable step-up from 2 gameplay wise, but imo it was less fun due to the sameness in the knockout animations. EA UFC 1 was pretty bad, but EA UFC 2 was a respectable improvement. This game is pathetic and the devs have proven that they don't give a damn about the consumer or the UFC product as a whole.
And it's barely better than EA UFC 1.
